I glanced away from the book in my hand to the cat-shaped clock, which sat on my bedside table next to a potted cactus and lava lamp: 8:53 p.m.

Fact: This was my first time FINALLY reading something by J.J. McAvoy. Ruthless People has been sitting on my Goodreads TBR list since December 2014. But well before that I was watching all the 4-5 stars reviews that would pop up on my timeline since July 2014.
I’m happy that Sugar Baby Beautiful was my first!
When I first came across this title on Goodreads I had my doubts, sugar baby? YUCK. And then I read the synopsis and I was more so in the hemming and hawing phase. And then I decided there as only one way to find out if I would actually like the book, by reading it! So here I am!
I honestly couldn’t put Sugar Baby Beautiful down! I ended up finishing it in 2 sittings, it would have been 1 but I couldn’t neglected my stomach any longer. I was expecting this to be an erotica read. And then BAM came the plot twist that I just didn’t see coming. I thought that since this was a standalone I had the storyline all figured out. Silly rabbit. SBB defiantly goes on my list favourite reads for 2015. There is just something about the way J.J. McAvoy presents readers with the story. I enjoyed the dual POV, especially Felicity’s!
Overall, Sugar Baby Beautiful is FANTASTIC!! Completely blew my mind with the plot twist that I just didn’t see coming! I can’t wait to get my hands on the novella (which I believe is coming later this year) and more J.J. McAvoy books!
