Ahh, I just finished Just Listen and I loved it. Have really loved the Sarah Dessen I’ve read so far, and I’m with you – I think they’d make great movies. (They develop relationships – not just between protagonist & love interest, but between protagonist and their community of family and friends – so incredibly well.) Her books are wonderful. Good choice!
Also, ToG and Fangirl = YES.

I’m not sure I could stand Sisterhood Everlasting as a movie since the book killed me. It was the first time I ever sobbed uncontrollably over a book. I’m not sure I can take that kind of pain.
I still need to read Throne of Glass, but Cinder’s on my list as well.

I cried for days!! I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I read it so I would just randomly start crying! When I was adding it to my list I was thinking how I wouldn’t be able to handle actually seeing what happens play out on film. But it was so well written and I love the cast of the previous 2 films that I kind of want it to happen!!
I highly recommend Throne of Glass! I read it after the hype and went into with low expectations and LOVED it!! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by!

Oh I didn’t think of Meg Cabot’s Mediator series.. Hmm might make an interesting tv show. Nice list.

Thanks! I love the Mediator series so much and have been waiting years hoping it would be made into a tv show or movie, especially since if I remember correctly the rights have been bought!!

Throne of Glass was on my list too, it would make a fantastic movie! I haven’t read Sisterhood Everlasting yet but I want to.

Yay to Throne of Glass!! Oh, Sisterhood Everlasting…that is one you must prepare yourself for. It’s SO good but what happens you just don’t see coming. I cried non-stop for days!!

Sounds great, I love emotional books. I have a lot of books to get through before I get to that one, so by the time I get to it I should be emotionally prepared!

Throne of Glass is popping up everywhere today and it’s so awesome to see it getting so much love! I would love to see it on the big screen, I think the story would translate really well. Love your choices!

Great list! I’ve seen Throne of Glass and Cinder on so many lists this week, it’s awesome! Fangirl almost made my list but I only had 10 to pick lol I haven’t read the others but I’ve been wanting to read All the Bright Places — heard so many amazing things about the book.

They actually ARE making a movie for All the Bright Places. Not sure how Elle Fanning will do (her look strikes me as too cutesy) but I’m super excited for it. Great list. Cinder would be awesome.

Cinder and Throne of Glass basically HAVE to be made into movies at this point- everyone wants them to be! And All the Bright Places is happening! I am a little nervous about it, but hopefully they’ll do it justice! Fabulous list!
