One girl.
Two wolves.
Promised to one.
Destined for the other.

To escape the cruel, overbearing, Kade, the Yukon Pack alpha she’s been promised to, Bailey Whitehill flees her home in search of a new life, one of freedom where she can make her own choices. However, Kade will stop at nothing to make her his and begins the hunt.

As Bailey starts her new life, everything she’s known to be true, is not. Time is of the essence and choices have to be made or consequences suffered. Not only does Bailey fear Kade, but another danger lurks deep in the recesses of the forest. Unbeknownst to her, that danger is what she’s been searching for all along. At the turn of the moon, her fate hangs in the balance . . . and it’s up to her to make the right choice.

OPENING LINES

“I’m sorry but there’s no other way, Bailey. We gave you a whole extra year to come to terms with this,” my father grumbled.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed Turn of the Moon!

I’ve always been a fan of Paranormal Romance, but more times than I can count I find authors often miss the mark of what they promise their readers in the synopsis. That was not the case with this one! What an amazing job L.P. Dover did as her first time writing something under the paranormal genre.

Turn of the Moon is filled with action, but there’s also mystery, romance, and interesting secrets being revealed. The whole storyline flowed perfectly and I feel like every turn of events happened at the right moment. I couldn’t put this book down from the second I started it. I really enjoyed the dual POV’s from the two main characters, I feel like having both perspectives added to the overall plot.

Each character in Turn of the Moon held there own. I did not come across any characters that I felt were filler’s to the plot. Bailey was hands down my favourite, and Ryker…HELLO!! L.P. Dover writing style has a way of capturing your attention and keeping you engrossed in the story from beginning to end. It fast paced and filled with action that will grab your attention from the start and you won’t want to put it down. This was my first time reading anything by her and it will not be the last! I’m already impatiently waiting for the next book!
